Bring Your Vintage Toys to Sell at the WPB Toy Vintage Buying Show Nov. 10-14
The Toy Scout is searching for ALL VINTAGE TOYS including, but not limited, to Hot Wheels, Transformers, Star Wars, Pez Dispensers, Barbie, Beatles memorabilia and 1960s comic books
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Barbie, Ken, Spideman and even Luke Skywalker are expected to visit Joel Magee, America’s Toy Scout, at the West Palm Beach Vintage Toy Buying Show which begins its five-day run on Nov. 10.
As America’s Toy Scout, Magee, who lives in West Palm Beach, will pay cash to south Florida residents who bring popular pre-1970 toys and collectibles to the show. Both area toy collectors or anyone who just wants to clean out their garage are welcome to bring their childhood toys and memorabilia either to learn what they are worth or to sell them.
“Whether in perfect, unused condition or broken with missing pieces,” Magee said, “feel free to bring your vintage toys and childhood memorabilia for a pleasant, hassle-free offer and selling experience without long lines or uncomfortable waiting periods.”
Based on more than 300 toy-buying shows in the past 15 years, Magee said he can expect to see people bring Pez Dispensers, Star Wars and Beatles memorabilia, superhero figurines, baseball cards, 1940-60s comic books, as well as Shirley Temple dolls, Hot Wheels and Hummel figurines. “The types of toys and memorabilia that people dust off and bring to the show are too diverse to list. You cannot fathom the toys and games people have saved for decades,” he added.
The West Palm Beach Vintage Toy Buying Show will run from Nov. 10-14 at the Courtyard by Marriott West Palm Beach Airport, 1800 Centrepark Drive East. Free admission. 9:30-5 p.m. daily. Free parking.
